The Nagaland Pavilion received a Special Appreciation Medal for Thematic Presentation (State) at the 42nd India International Trade Fair (IITF) held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The award ceremony took place on the final day of the event, recognizing Nagaland’s excellence in display, on November 27, 2023.

The Nagaland Pavilion was honored with a Special Appreciation Medal for its thematic presentation, showcasing the best of the state’s handloom and handicrafts. Nagaland participated in the IITF with the active involvement of 25 entrepreneurs from the state, contributing to the diverse and vibrant display at the event.

The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) awarded various states in 12 categories on the final day of the trade fair. The Pavilion Director, Kikhumthong, and Assistant Pavilion Director, Areninla, received the award on behalf of Nagaland.

The 42nd edition of IITF was held under the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade.’ The event saw participation from 13 countries, with Bihar, Jharkhand, and Kerala as partner states. New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh were the focus states.
