Mokokchung, March 18 (MTNews): The Naga Students’ Federation has today reiterated its resolution adopted earlier on March 12 at its 2nd Federal Assembly and directed all its federating units and Sub-ordinate bodies to ensure that the resolutions are strictly implemented in their respective jurisdictions. NSF President Kegwayhun Tep and General Secretary Süpüni Philo further stated that defaulting units shall attract befitting actions by the Federal Assembly of the Naga Students’ Federation.

 

The NSF Federal Assembly had on March 12 resolved “to extend the Non-Cooperation movement against the Indian armed forces until justice is served to the victims of the Oting incident and all other victims of the Army excesses committed in our Naga Homeland.”

 

In furtherance of the same, the NSF had resolved that “no individual or group across the Naga Homeland shall accept any form of humanitarian or other aids from the Indian Armed forces.”

 

Secondly, “No Individual or group shall be allowed to invite the Indian armed forces to any event being organized in our Naga Homeland neither shall they shall partake in any official event of the Indian Armed forces.”

 

It was also resolved that, “All Federating Units and Sub-ordinate bodies of the Federation shall hoist a black Flag in their respective Oking as a mark of protest against the imposition of the draconian Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act 1958 in our Naga homeland.

 

The Units shall also take steps in-order to ensure that similar exercise is carried out in all Naga villages.” The fourth resolution stated that, “The house endorsed the Executive Council of the Federation to take up any steps for immediate repeal of the atrocious AFSPA.”
