Following an informal meeting between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India, led by AK Mishra, on October 7, 2024, in New Delhi, sources have informed that a formal meeting between the NSCN-IM and the GoI is scheduled for October 9, 2024.
Sources informed that a 10-member delegation of the NSCN-IM, led by General (Rtd) VS Atem, Vice Chairman, including Imcha Longkumer, the former CFMC Secretary and also a long time office assistant to Th Muivah, is in New Delhi for the talks.
