The Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC) celebrated its 9th Foundation Day on Thursday, December 5, at its premises in Tsiesema-Basa. The occasion was marked by a message delivered by Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and Principal of Kohima Bible College, who emphasized the significance of prayer and repentance in challenging times.

Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo

Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 56, Rev Dr Kiewhuo highlighted the call for God’s people to gather on the “holy mountain” for healing, revival, deliverance, and rejoicing in the Lord. He reinforced the theme of the KPC, “My House Shall be called a House of Prayer” (Isaiah 56:7), emphasizing the centre’s role in praying for the salvation of all nations, especially the people of Kohima and Nagaland.

Reflecting on the spiritual decline of God’s servants as depicted in Isaiah 56:10-11, Rev Dr Kiewhuo lamented the prevalence of ignorance and greed among church leaders. He urged Christian leaders to prioritize prayer and spiritual understanding.

He also addressed the rising challenges of false doctrines and worldly philosophies, warning that many churches would be vulnerable, likening them to “infant and babes” (1 Corinthians 3:1-3, Galatians 3:1-3). Despite these challenges, he encouraged believers to pray, preach the Word, and follow the example of the churches in Thessalonica, Philippi, and Berea.

Rev Dr Kiewhuo also offered a reminder about the spiritual state of the Naga people. He recalled the prophecies of revivalists Meguolhou and Rüsovi from the 1970s and 1980s, which foresaw the Nagas turning to idolatry, symbolized by the Hornbill Festival that began in 2000. He lamented that this event led many away from God and traditional spiritual practices.

However, Rev Dr Kiewhuo celebrated the divine ordination of the Koinonia Prayer Centre, which he said had been prophesied in 1978, 2001, and 2002. Today, the centre serves as a “holy mountain” and a “house of prayer” where people from around the world, including Japan, Germany, Bhutan, and India, gather to seek God, he said. Many attendees have testified of their academic and career success following their visits, he added.

He encouraged the congregation to cultivate love for one another, pray for the lost, and continue the work of God through giving and preaching. He warmly invited all to visit the Koinonia Prayer Centre to experience a powerful time of prayer and fellowship.

of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal.
