“In the quiet soil of a heart prepared,
The Seed of the Word, divinely shared,
Planted by hands of grace and love,
Whispers of truth from heaven above.
For the word of God is alive and active”
** (Hebrews 4:12),
A double-edged sword, our spirits it cleaves,
In the garden of faith, where shadows play,
The Seed takes root, it finds its way.
With every promise, a gentle embrace,
Nurtured by mercy, bathed in grace.
**’’And we know that in all things God works for
the good”** (Romans 8:28),
In trials and triumphs, His plans are laid.
From Genesis dawn to Revelation’s light,
The Seed grows strong, dispelling the night,
In parables spoken, in stories of old,
The mysteries of God in each tale unfold.
Like a mustard seed, so small and meek,
Yet in its growth, the heavens speak,
Branches spread wide, sheltering all,
In the shade of His love, we rise, we fall.
The Word became flesh, our Saviour, our King,
In the garden of Gethsemane, He’d weep and sing,
For the Seed that was sown, in sorrow and strife,
Brought forth redemption, the gift of life.
In trials and sorrows, in joy and in peace,
The Seed of the Word will never cease,
To bloom in the hearts of those who believe,
In the promise of hope that we shall receive.
As rain from the heavens, His love pours down,
Transforming the barren, restoring the crown,
With faith as our anchor, we stand and proclaim,
The Seed of the Word, forever the same.
So let us be stewards, with hearts open wide,
To plant and to nurture, with Christ as our guide,
For the Seed is the Word, eternal and true,
In the garden of God, we are made new.
In every season, let us rejoice,
For the Seed of the Word is our guiding voice,
With each passing moment, let love be our creed,
In the light of His truth, we are all freed.”
