Internally, the KMC has set up an Internal Assessment Committee tasked with conducting “a thorough review of all internal office procedures,” identifying “any potential structural lapses or vulnerabilities,” and implementing “robust measures to significantly strengthen security protocols across the board.”

Reaffirming its institutional values, the KMC assured the public that “transparency, accountability, and security remain its paramount priorities.” It pledged to continue serving the public “with the utmost integrity and dedication,” stressing that “criminal activities will not be allowed to undermine the dignity and effective functioning of the institution.”

The civic body also appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and help law enforcement “ensure that justice is swiftly and effectively served.”
