The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Nagaland unit has submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB), urging the board to adopt measures aimed at enhancing transparency and fairness in the recruitment examination process.
In the memorandum addressed to the NSSB Chairman, NSUI Nagaland expressed appreciation for the efforts of the board and its staff in conducting examinations smoothly since its inception.
The student body, however, noted that there is room for improvement based on feedback received from aspirants.
The NSUI submitted two “genuine suggestions” for the Chairman’s consideration: “Release of individual cut-off marks in the candidate dashboard” and “Publication of category-wise cut-off marks after the completion of the entire examination process.”
The student body expressed hope that the suggestions would be “given due consideration in the interest of fairness and clarity for all aspirants.”
The memorandum was signed by X Chophika Sumi, President, and Rhonathung E Ovung, General Secretary of the NSUI Nagaland state unit.
