In connection with the ongoing Sardar@150 celebrations across India, a coordination meeting between the District Administration and MyBharat/NYKS/National Service Scheme was held today in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu.
The meeting chalked out the programme for the Unity March, which will take place on November 21, from the DC Office to the Town Hall, Tseminyu. The Unity March will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be marked by a cultural programme and the administration of a pledge.
This year marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, has initiated the Sardar@150 celebrations across the country to honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s enduring legacy and reinforce his ideals of unity, patriotism, and service.
