Nagaland University is set to participate in the Basketball Women East Zone Inter-University Tournament 2025–26, to be hosted by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, from January 15 to 19, 2026.
The Nagaland University contingent comprises 12 women players and will be led by Coach Dr. Harish Kumar Tiwari, with Chunbasenla Longchar serving as Assistant Coach. The university stated that it remains committed to promoting sports excellence and encouraging greater student participation in competitive athletics.
