The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will organise an orientation program for its party leaders and legislators on February 23, 2026 at the party’s Central Office.

The program, themed “Insights on Government Departmental Activities and Constructive Role of Party Leaders,” is aimed at enhancing understanding of government functioning and strengthening the role of party leaders in supporting developmental initiatives.

According to a press release, the orientation will be conducted in two sessions featuring ministers and advisors from key departments.

The first session will include presentations by Hekani Jakhalu Kense, Advisor for Industries and Commerce; Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor for New & Renewable Energy (NRE) and NSDMA; Wangpang Konyak, Advisor for Social Welfare; Tongpang Ozukum, Advisor for Water Resources; and Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for School Education and SCERT.

The second session will feature G Kaito Aye, Minister for Road and Bridges; KG Kenye, Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs; and CL John, Minister for Forest and Environment.

The introductory note will be delivered by Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Secretary General of the NPF.

The program will be moderated by Merentoshi R Jamir, Vice President of the party, while proceedings will be recorded by Atou Liezietsu, Press Secretary.
