The Delhi Lotha Baptist Church (DLBC) and the Lotha Students’ Union Delhi (DLSU) jointly organised their annual sports meet at the Rugby Stadium in Vasant Kunj on February 28 under the theme “TOGETHERNESS,” inspired by Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

The event brought together participants from the Lotha Naga community, other Naga tribes, the wider Northeast, and mainland India. Organisers said the meet aimed to strengthen community bonds, promote physical fitness, encourage inclusivity, and showcase sporting talent.
Six teams participated, namely DLBC, LSUD, North Delhi Team, Kishangarh Team, X1 Brothers Team, and Noah Team, with students, police personnel, and young professionals taking part. Events included football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, relay races, obstacle courses, and children’s games.
The programme opened with a welcome address by Mhayani N. Jami and a prayer by Zubenthung Ngullie, Secretary of DLBC. Pastor Mhabemo Kithan delivered a brief sermon and declared the meet open.
DLBC won both men’s and women’s football titles, while North Delhi Team secured the men’s volleyball and basketball championships. Noah Team won the women’s volleyball title. The closing ceremony, chaired by LSUD president C Rendemo Tsanglao, concluded with prize distribution and a benediction by Pastor Kithan.
