I Abenjang, candidate of the National People’s Party for the Koridang Assembly Constituency by-election, visited Longkhum village on Saturday as part of his campaign.

He was received by members of the Longkhum Village Council, elders and supporters. Senior party leaders, including NPP National Vice President Vevoyi Wideo and National People’s Women Front president Ane-ii Khaming, accompanied him.

Addressing a gathering, Abenjang said it was “time for redemption” and called on voters to “wake up from the slumber.” He said he would work for the “welfare, unity and progress” of the constituency.

Wideo, in his address, expressed confidence in Abenjang’s leadership and appealed to voters to extend support to the party’s candidate.

The visit is part of Abenjang’s ongoing campaign across villages under the Koridang constituency ahead of the by-election. Other candidates are also expected to intensify their campaigns in the coming days.
