A five member team of the Ex-Parliamentarians Association of Nagaland (Ex-PAN) undertook an exposure tour to the Legislative Assemblies of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Assam and Meghalaya from March 16 to 22, 2026.

The team comprised John Konyak, former MLA and Vice President, Neiba Ndang, former Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Advisor, Kashiho Sangtam, former Minister and Executive member, Eshak Konyak, former MLA and Executive member, and R. Tohanba, former MLA and Executive member.
The delegation was tasked with meeting and interacting with Speakers, officials and former parliamentarians in the neighbouring states to exchange experiences and understand how similar bodies function. During the visit, the team shared challenges faced by Ex-PAN in Nagaland and learned about the initiatives undertaken by their counterparts.
The interactions also focused on strengthening cooperation among northeastern states and working collectively towards nation building by supporting common concerns and issues.
In a statement, Ex-PAN expressed appreciation to the Speakers and officials of the respective Legislative Assemblies for their support and hospitality during the tour. It also thanked the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer, and the Assembly Secretariat for providing financial and logistical assistance for the tour.
Ex-PAN said it looks forward to continued collaboration with the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for the welfare of its members and the people of the state.
