A three-day in-house training-cum-interactive session for ministerial staff of the Directorate of School Education (DoSE) commenced on Monday at Samagra Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Additional Director, DoSE, Deenabandhu Panda encouraged the participants to remain sincere in the discharge of their duties.

He also emphasised that staff should have a clear understanding of the work assigned to them while also being aware of the functioning of other sections.

A total of 40 ministerial staff from the Directorate are participating in the training programme, which will conclude on April 29.

The resource person for the first day was Andreas Lotha, retired Deputy Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, who spoke on the Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules, filing system, and management of dak.

Topics to be covered during the three-day session include Nagaland Education Service Rules 2017, APAR, service book, personal file, leave rules, and noting and drafting. Resource persons from the Secretariat (Education Branch) and the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department will conduct the sessions.
