The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India, has invited entries for its Short Film Competition 2026 to promote awareness on human rights issues.
The contest is open to all Indian citizens. Films must be 3 to 10 minutes long and may be in any Indian language with English subtitles. Themes may cover equality, dignity, child rights, women’s rights, environment, healthcare and social justice.
Top prizes are Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh. Entries must be submitted online by June 30, 2026. Details are available on the NHRC website.
