Felicitation program honors successful students
Ladybird School has achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage in the recently declared NBSE High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, with one of its students, Lipoklemla Jamir, securing a position among the top 19 ranks in the state.

The school marked the accomplishment with a felicitation program for successful and outgoing students held on April 30 at the school auditorium.
Speaking at the program, Headmistress Dr Imchanaro said the result reflected the fulfilment of the school’s 2019 resolution to strive for academic excellence.
She said the school had continued to progress each year and credited the teachers for the achievement, while noting that mentoring a student takes 12 to 13 years.
School Managing Board member Supongasang described the occasion as a historic moment for the institution and praised the proprietorship under Er Chubatoshi, stating that its vision had become a reality.
As part of the felicitation, the school awarded Rs 1 lakh to the topper, Rs 25,000 each to subject toppers, Rs 5,000 to students securing 80 per cent and above in aggregate, and Rs 1,000 for distinction in individual subjects.
A total of 19 students appeared for the examination, all of whom passed.
The Student of the Year award for the academic year 2025–26 was presented to Lanujungla Aier of Class 9.
Speeches were also delivered by parents’ association, representatives from Alempang Ward, Alempang Youth Association, and Mokokchung Senso Kaketshir Telongjem.
The program was chaired by Sunepjungla, Assistant Teacher, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Mamta Rana, Assistant Teacher.
