The Nagaland Basketball Association conducted the U19 Boys State Trials at the Indoor Stadium, Medziphema, on May 9, with 60 players from across the state participating in the selection process.

Following the trials, 15 players were selected to represent Nagaland at the Final Official Selection Trials and Draft Picks to be held in Aizawl, Mizoram, from May 18 to 20. Two additional players were named as stand-bys.

The selected players are Kelhouletuo Khrabvü, Neikeduozo Seyie, P. Guizingba Pampuinath, K. Ruokuovilie Liezietsu, Ediho Gideon Khizho, Khüzhü O, Thejakhriezo Sekhose, Kevinguzo Belho, Tokito K Swu, Renben C Shitri, Hulupu Katty, Sedevikuo David Kehie, Mengusie Rino, Dzuve Theluo and Vitsosier Chusi.

The stand-by players are Dzüte Wetsah and Konmei P Leinak.

The trials were overseen by selectors Sentiningsang Longkumer, Xusheto Zhimomi, Salew Kadete, Chumbenthung Humtsoe, Neichutuo Rutsa, Thejangulie Mekro and Seyievizo Kire, who conducted the evaluation process.

The NBA expressed gratitude to the Medziphema administration for providing the Indoor Stadium and supporting the smooth conduct of the trials.

The selected players will also compete in the Northeast Elite Basketball League (U19) scheduled to be held in Aizawl from June 22 to July 2.
