The 5th Pre-State Nagaland Shooting Championship 2026 in Small Bore Rifle and Pistol concluded on June 19, with 80 shooters participating across 36 categories.
Organised by the Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur, and conducted by the Nagaland Rifle Association, the championship was held from June 16 to 19 at the Aries Sports Complex Shooting Ranges, Bamunpukhuri-I, Dimapur, and Ladybird School Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Mokokchung.
A total of 80 shooters, including 65 men and 15 women, competed in events such as 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, 25m Standard Pistol, .32 Centre Fire Pistol and 50m Rifle events.
The results were officially released by Chief Technical Officer Merang Jamir.
