Nagaland-based rock band The Old School Nagaland launched its second original single, Rise As One, at De Oriental Grand, Kohima, on July 10.

The music video was officially launched by Inspector General of Police (Intelligence), Nagaland, Rothihu Tetseo, while Professor Tiatoshi Jamir of Nagaland University attended the event as the guest of honour.
The five-member band comprises frontman Moa Imchen, drummer Kilang Walling, lead guitarist Lichen Kichu, keyboardist Sophia and bassist Yanger Imchen.
Speaking at the launch, Moa Imchen said Rise As One carries an uplifting message of unity, resilience and collective strength, encouraging people to work together towards a better future.
Band member Kilang Walling said breaking into the music industry is “a marathon, not a sprint.” Despite the challenges, he encouraged aspiring musicians to remain focused on developing their talent and skills, adding that perseverance is essential to achieving long-term success.
The band also announced that it has several live performances lined up and is working on more original releases in the coming months.
