Mokokchung, 17 September: A Grade 2 student of Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung, Ananya Panwar has earned multiple recognitions for her reading abilities, including a record for reading a complete Grade 5 NCERT English textbook in just 18 minutes and 41.15 seconds

According to a certificate issued by the International Book of Records, Ananya, then aged 7 years, 1 month and 30 days, achieved the record titled “Youngest to Read Complete Grade 5 NCERT English Book” on November 5, 2025.
The certificate states that she read the complete Grade 5 NCERT English book in 18 minutes, 41 seconds and 15 centiseconds.
Ananya has since received further recognition for her reading abilities. On July 30, 2026, the International Book of Records recognised her with the title “Super Talented Kid”, stating that the seven-year-old from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, read a Grade 10 NCERT English book in one hour and 30 minutes. The certificate also describes her as “One in a Million.”
More recently, Ananya participated in a Guinness World Records title at an event organised by Ebek Language Laboratories Private Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on August 31, 2026. Her Guinness World Records certificate states that she took part in “The largest reading and listening competition.”
