Akato Chophi mourns

Dimapur, 10 August: The president of the NSCN-Akato, Akato Chophi has mourned the demise of one the popular faces of Nagamese films, Late  Nihovi Achumi, who passed away on 9 August 2024.Describing Achumi as a good friend, Chophi said his main credit in Nagamese film was playing the lead character in the film “My Blood for the Nation”

“When I was the President of the DDYO (Dimapur District Youth Organisation), he was the Joint Secretary,” Chophi said.

Besides being a famous Naga martial artist and a youth leader, he was a very good friend to one and all, Chophi added.

“I pray to the Lord to grant his soul an eternal rest and peace, and also to comfort his family and loved ones during their time of grief,” Chophi said.
