Mokokchung, September 23 (MTNews): The celebration of Ayushman Bharat Diwas, the 4th Anniversary of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY) and 1st Year Anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was held at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officer’s Office on 23rd Sept’ 2022.
Dr. Sentirenla R Jamir, Nodal Officer, AB-PMJAY IMDH in her key note address informed about its key features, eligibility and criteria, requisite KYC documents for generating AB-PMJAY e-card, about ABDM, eligibility criteria and benefits of ABHA health ID.
Shanshak Pratap Singh IAS, Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DIU, Mokokchung, in his speech stated that, “Prevention is better than cure” and thus, in this sense, almost all health units are working towards prevention.
He also mentioned the benefits of AB-PMJAY and how it covers almost 50% of the population of India and urged for wide publicity of the of AB-PMJAY scheme.
He also congratulated the awardees for their performance and further gave recognition and encouraged the hard work of all the health officials of the District.
Repalepla of Ungma village testified on how AB-PMJAY Scheme benefited her.
Merangba, PMAM, CHC Changtongya and Limatenzük, District coordinator, AB-PMJAY was awarded for highest eCard generation in the district and best performing staff respectively.
Delivering a vote of thanks, Dr. Limanaro, DPO (NCD) acknowledged the Administration for their support and motivation, the NGO for promoting the program to the general public, AB-PMJAY team and also thanked the awardees.
The program was chaired by Dr. Limatula Aier, Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung, who welcomed the participants on the occasion.
