Participating in the states’ activities report, Tsanglao highlighted several issues and initiatives concerning government employees in Nagaland.

CANSSEA expressed its continued support to AISGEF for taking up pay revision with the 8th Central Pay Commission as a priority, with a minimum fitment factor of 3.25 or higher, as considered appropriate, so that employees across states benefit from the pay revision.

The association also highlighted its engagement with the state government, along with other sister associations, on streamlining the induction of officers from non-State Civil Services into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) based on merit.

CANSSEA further highlighted the implementation of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), describing it as a comprehensive health insurance scheme providing cashless treatment to employees and pensioners at hospitals within and outside the state.

The association reiterated its continued support for reverting from the New Pension Scheme to the Old Pension Scheme.

At the NEC meeting, CANSSEA also expressed its appreciation to the state government for the timely payment of Dearness Allowance to employees.

Various issues, proposals and demands concerning the welfare of government employees from different states were discussed and deliberated during the meeting.

A key decision taken at the meeting was to organise a national rally at Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi, on December 12, 2026.

The two-day national meeting was attended by delegates from various states.
