Mokokchung, June 12 (MTNews): A capacity-building program on the National Pension Scheme (NPS) with Resource Persons from the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts was organized by the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association at CANSSEA’s Conference Hall on 17th June 2022.

 

 

Joint Director T&A Department, Amenla Jamir presented the facts and figures of NPS and its status in the State. She also said there are 30,408 employees with Permanent Retirement Account Number (NPS) under the State Government and the delay in paying the employees’ contribution to the NPS account poses a big challenge to all the departments.

 

The Nodal Officers and dealing assistants of NPS from various Directorates had an interactive session with the officials of the T&A Department. Numerous issues relating to NPS were clarified and the House expressed the need to bring in more innovative steps to solve the problems.
