Advisor of Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu, inaugurated the office of the Functional Manager, Sub-District Industries Centre at Changtongya, Mokokchung on 9 July 2024 in the presence of Director, Industries & Commerce, P Tokugha Sema; SDO (C) Changtongya, C Wangan; Changtongya Town Council Chairman, Temjen Nungsang and government officials.
The Advisor thanked the Director and everyone involved in the timely completion of the new building. She encouraged the staff of Sub-District Industries Centre, Changtongya to give their best in the new office and provide public friendly services to the public and make the office efficient. She also requested the village council and the public of Changtongya Town to take care of the new office as their own and access the facilities and services available in the office.
The Advisor also visited the Modern Aggregation Center at Changtongya, construction works of which are ongoing under PM GatiShakti scheme. She expressed optimism that the project would be completed within the targeted time period.
Later in the evening, the Advisor along with the officers of the Department of Industries and Commerce led by the Director held an interactive knowledge sharing session with entrepreneurs and members of the business community of Mokokchung at Hotel Whispering Winds.
