Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio undertook a private tour of Visakhapatnam on Monday, exploring its cultural, maritime and coastal heritage. He visited the Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex and was briefed on its archaeological significance before proceeding to Bheemunipatnam Beach and Kailasagiri, where he experienced the glass bridge views.

According to a Deccan Herald report, Rio’s itinerary included stops at the Fishing Harbour, St. Mary’s Church, Dutch Cemetery, Konda Gudi Church and the Naval Dockyard, where he visited submarine INS Sindhu Vijay. He also visited Yarada Beach before departing in the evening.
