Mokokchung, 29 February (MTNews): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Mokokchung has announced that the next IPPI (Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization) for children between 0- 5 years will be held on 3 March 2024 (Sunday). The initiative aims to safeguard children against polio and contribute to the nationwide effort to eliminate the disease.
The CMO emphasized the importance of parents and adults in ensuring that all children within the specified age group receive two polio drops on 3 March at the nearest IPPI Booths.
In urging cooperation from the community, the CMO stated, “Please cooperate with the Health workers and Volunteers to make this endeavor a success.”
