Mokokchung, January 31 (MTNews): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh has on Tuesday through an order notified the drafted list of government employees under Mokokchung district to perform the Election duty as Presiding officer, 1 Polling Officer, 2nd Polling officer, 3rd Polling officer and Grade -IV in connection to the conduct of the ensuing General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023. The order was in supersession to an earlier order issued on January 26 last.
Further, it was informed that the schedule of the training for the 1st Round will be held on 2nd to 3rd February 2023. The schedule of the 2nd round of training will be held on 10th to 11th February and 3rd and final round of the training will be held on 17th to 18th Feb. 2023.
All Head of the Departments/Offices under Mokokchung District have been directed to depute all the listed officials under their respective establishment to attend the training positively. Any department who fails to attend the election training/duties shall be prosecuted under the election law, the order stated.
