Dimapur, July 19 (MTNews): Taking serious note of the surge in Covid 19 cases, DC Dimapur Sachin Jaiswal IAS, on Tuesday, personally visited several market places under Dimapur district, and distributed masks besides educating the masses, a DIPR report said.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Supermarket, Batacharali and the New Market and distributed masks free of cost to the street vendors, shopkeepers, auto drivers, and the public who were without masks.
He reminded the citizens of Dimapur to follow Covid appropriate behavior and said that wearing masks will be mandatory henceforth.
DC Dimapur also urged the eligible persons to get their booster doses. DC Dimapur was accompanied by administrative officers and the GBs who made the announcements about Covid 19 guidelines at strategic locations, the report added.
