Mon, 11 October (MTNews): With the announcement of the bye-election for the 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency 2023 to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly by the Election Commission of India on 9 October, the Deputy Commissioner & DEO, Mon has informed all concerned that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC)comes into force with immediate effect throughout Mon District.
In view of this, all political parties, intending candidates, government departments/ establishments and general public have been informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the MCC and extend cooperation to the District Election machinery to ensure peaceful conduct of the scheduled bye-election.
