The Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR), under the Department of School Education (DoSE), has issued a final call for its employee verification and authentication drive as part of the Teachers Attendance Monitoring System (TAMS). The exercise, which initially ran from May to August 2023, followed by a supplementary drive in October, aims to enhance school management and streamline the education system.
Despite multiple opportunities, some employees are yet to complete the verification process. In a notice issued by the Directorate, all DoSE employees, including those recruited after October 2023, who have not undergone the authentication process, are directed to report to the Directorate of School Education, Bayavu, Kohima. The verification will be conducted from November 25 to 28, 2024, during office hours, on the top floor of the Directorate building.
The directive further specifies that UGHT/GHT teachers who previously submitted their documents via email and were verified must report in person to capture their “master selfie.” Additionally, employees who missed the drive due to sanctioned medical or earned leaves are required to attend.
Employees have been asked to bring a duly filled and verified Employee Data Verification and Authentication Form. The form can be downloaded from www.nagalandeduproject.com or collected from school heads. It must be verified by the head of school, EBRC Coordinator, DEO/SDEO, and countersigned by the Area Administrative Officer. Alongside the form, the following original and photocopied documents are required: Aadhar Card; ID Card issued by Samagra Shiksha; Appointment Letter; All Transfer/Posting Orders; Regularization Order; Latest Extension Order and; Service book page with bio-data details.
The notice emphasized, “Employees failing to register for the authentication may be liable to disciplinary action.”
