The handing and taking over ceremony of the office of the Sümi Hoho by the new team of office bearers was held on August 2 at the Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto.
In a brief but meaningful ceremony, the outgoing President, I Nikheto Jimomi, exhorted the new team and expressed his full confidence in their capabilities. He praised their dedication and readiness to lead the organization forward.
The incoming President, Dr Vihuto Asumi, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Nomination Committee and elders for entrusting him with this responsibility. He assured all present that he would carry on the legacy of good works initiated by his predecessors, committing to lead the Sümi Hoho with dedication and steadfastness in its various endeavours.
The ceremony was solemnized with a prayer conducted by Associate Pastor Ghunato Sümi of the Sümi Baptist Church Zunheboto, who prayed for both the outgoing and incoming teams.
The Sümi Hoho looks forward to a new chapter of leadership under Dr Vihuto Asumi, building on the strong foundations laid by former leaders.
