The District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI) meeting was convened on 23rd June 2025 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room, Mokokchung. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS.

The Chairman welcomed all members present and emphasized the importance of community involvement in public health initiatives. He urged all stakeholders to work in collaboration to achieve better health outcomes in the district.
Dr Limanaro, DPO (RCH & UIP), highlighted that the objective of the immunization drive is to ensure that all beneficiaries are vaccinated and that no one is left out. She also informed the members about the ongoing STOP Diarrhoea campaign, being held during the months of June and July, and emphasized the roles and responsibilities of all departments involved.
The status report of the DTFI, outlining the activities undertaken and achievements in the district, was presented by Dr Mero, RRT (WHO).
The meeting included deliberations on the challenges faced by the DTFI, particularly in raising awareness. Strategies to overcome these challenges were discussed, and suggestions were put forward for effective implementation.
