Tuensang, 14 March (MTNews): As the 36-hour ultimatum issued by the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) and its federating units expired, the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) has announced a postponement of the scheduled meeting.

It may be recalled that the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) and its federating units issued a directive to the Rajya Sabha MP and all 20 elected members from Eastern Nagaland to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly to arrive at Tuensang headquarters within 36 hours, effective from 12 March (6:00 pm) to 14 March 2024 (12:00 noon).

In a statement released today, the ENPO informed that due to the impending travel of the Eastern Nagaland Legislatures’ Union (ENLU) to New Delhi on 15 March, the meeting has been rescheduled to 19 March 2024 from 10:00 am onwards at CKS Hall Tuensang.

The ENPO further requested the Rajya Sabha MP, the 20 elected members of Eastern Nagaland, House of 13th NLA-ENLU Chairman/Secretary; ENGOA president along with 8 members; Talk Team; ENPO advisors, and former presidents of ENPO, ENWO, ENSF presidents to be present at the rescheduled meeting.
