The Eco Club of Fazl Ali College organised the sixth edition of Santa’s Workshop on October 28 under the theme “Christmas in a Circular Way” and the tagline “Turning Waste into Resources, Ideas into Action!”
The workshop encouraged students to explore creative ways of reusing waste materials and adopting sustainable practices during festive celebrations. Students made decorative crafts using scraps and plastic, demonstrating how discarded materials could be transformed into useful and attractive items.
In keeping with the theme, students also prepared leaf bowls, which were used to serve fried rice during the event. The initiative combined hands-on creativity with environmental awareness, highlighting the importance of waste reduction, reuse and resourcefulness in promoting sustainable celebrations.
