Mokokchung, July 20 (MTNews): Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung held the Orientation Program for First Semester BA/BSc. 2022, the first batch of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), at the college Auditorium on the 20th of July 2022.
The Principal of the college Dr. Temjenwabang in his welcome speech expressed special appreciation to all parents and guardians who have attended the program, an update from the college Information and Publicity Cell said. The Principal in his speech emphasized that “Fazl Ali College is one of best colleges in the country and thus both the teachers as well as the students are expected to live up to the grading and need to be much better and stronger academically and in all aspects”.
He also expressed the enormous responsibilities of the teacher to provide the education that is expected from an A-grade college and that, simultaneously, the college also expects the best responses and results from the students.
In the program, the faculty of different college committee conveners made their presentation to familiarize and acquaint the students on areas such as discipline and curriculum.
Dr Imcharenla, Convener, Discipline Committee of the college stressed upon the disciplinary rules and Code of Conduct for students. Narola Imchen, Convener, Anti Ragging Cell on ragging related issues and on the basics of college uniform by P. Tiatemsu, Convener, FAC Uniform Committee. Also, the program had an orientation specifically on CBCS by L.S. Vinod, Assistant Professor and HOD of Math, and on uses and services of college library by Dr. Lendina, Liberian, FAC. The program was chaired by Talisenla, Assistant Professor & HOD Education.
