Mokokchung, July 20 (MTNews): A ‘Science Exhibition’ was organized on Wednesday at GMS Pongentola School for students of classes 7 and 8, and ‘the drip irrigation model’, demonstrated by Chingi of Class 7, was deemed to be practically applicable.
Lanukumla, a science teacher, noted that the science exhibition was part of the school’s summer vacation project work. She stated that it was held to boost the pupils’ creativity.
Lanukumla went on to say that the 30 children from classes 7 and 8 presented several models ranging from drip irrigation models, sprinkler systems, kidney functioning models, lungs working models, simple electric circuits, water cycles, DNA structures, etc which according to her were impressive coming from such young students.
