Mokokchung, 15 June (MTNews): A one-day retreat was held for the students and teachers of GMS Pongentola, Aongza Ward, Mokokchung on 15 June at the school premises on the theme “Glorifying God with your life”.
The retreat began with Mrs. Moasenla, senior teacher, welcoming the resource person Mr. Moa Jamir, Youth Pastor, Yimyu Baptist Arogo and Mr. Imliakum. The retreat was held with the aim of deepening one’s relationship with God. It also provided an opportunity, especially for the students to engage with the spiritual self and God through different activities like singing, Bible reading and storytelling.
