Mokokchung, 15 June (MTNews): Government Middle School Senkalemba, Arkong Ward, Mokokchung, organized a Literary Day under the theme “Embracing G20 & Re-Inforcing NIPUN BHARAT” at the school premises today. The event aimed to foster a love for literature, encourage creativity, and promote awareness about the NIPUN Bharat initiative and environmental conservation.
The Literary Day commenced with an informative session led by Abigail Swu, a Senior lecturer at DIET Mokokchung. Swu delivered a talk on Introduction to NIPUN Bharat, enlightening both teachers and students with her valuable insights on enhancing the teaching and learning process.
The second session of the day was dedicated to the highly anticipated literary competition. Senior students showcased their writing skills in an Essay competition focused on the topic, “One earth. One family. One future.” Additionally, they participated in a DIY Model competition, creatively incorporating the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
The junior students enthusiastically displayed their artistic talents in a Drawing and Coloring competition centered on the theme “Save planet earth and NIPUN Bharat.” Furthermore, they had the opportunity to showcase their individual skills in an exciting Solo competition.
Not to be left behind, the Sub-Junior students showcased talents in the action song competition and their budding creativity in a lively coloring competition, adding a splash of vibrant hues to the Literary Day celebrations.
In a display of unity and teamwork, the entire school students were divided into four groups or houses, and they participated in a group song competition. Each group sang the NIPUN Bharat theme song with great enthusiasm.
Overall, a total of 145 students and teachers participated in the event
