He added, “good is not good enough anymore; we must strive for excellence in all fields if we are to survive and be at par with the competitive world.”

Speaking on the usage of Social Media, he said that ignorance of Social Media is no longer an excuse for leaders and that one must utilize the tools of information technology to empower and improve and to progress and prosper. Reminding the youths to use social media platforms responsibly, he urged the youths to fact-check and authenticate before posting any contents in order not to hurt people.

He also mentioned how NDPP has set new records by empowering women and electing women legislators from the state.

While mentioning the potentials of Nagaland state, he said “Northeast is perceived to be the end of the country but I see it as the gateway to Asia, which is emerging as the economic power of the world. We are not at the end but the beginning of the new economy.”

He challenged the youths to be ready and ensure that they do not miss the bus. “Naga leaders must understand these dynamics and build responsible leadership to take the people forward,” he said. He urged the youth to make Nagaland known for the right and positive leaders, and to re-dedicate themselves to achieving the aspirations of the common people, upholding the party’s motto “Facta Non Verba.”
