In a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Sunday night, an unidentified car slammed into a parked vehicle and then fled the scene. The incident resulted in significant damage caused to the rear of the parked car. The hit-and-run incident occurred on the IM Road stretch near The Restaurant 2, Arkong Ward, at approximately 10:40 PM. There were no occupants in the parked car at the time of the incident.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that a speeding black hatchback struck the stationary car, a Hyundai Eon, and promptly left the scene.

Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and discovered a mobile phone that likely belonged to the occupants of the speeding car. While there were CCTV cameras in the vicinity of the incident, access to the footage was not available at the time of filing this report.
