Imtisungkum Longkumer, clinching the third position in the Science stream from Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, expressed his excitement and gratitude towards his institution for guiding him towards this accomplishment. Biseli Sangtam, attaining the fifth position in the Arts stream from Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School, reflected on his months-long preparation leading up to this moment. Devoting 5-6 hours daily to his studies, Sangtam expressed no surprise at his success, attributing it to sheer hard work and the continuous support of his family, institution, and teachers. Chendila Walling, QMHSS, Top 10

Chendila Walling, securing the 10th position, expressed surprise at the unexpected result. With a foundation laid in Zunheboto Olympic Higher Secondary School and subsequent education at QMHSS, Chendila expressed gratitude towards her schools for molding her into the person she is today. Self-taught and dedicated, she credited her success to her unwavering effort and commitment to studies. She said she will pursue her further studies in the Science stream.

Moaakum, EDHSS, Top 12

Moaakum, achieving the 12th position, expressed immense joy and gratitude towards the Almighty for the opportunities leading to this success. He emphasized the pivotal role of his teachers and institution, highlighting their dedication, including taking extra classes even on Saturdays. Despite not adhering to a rigorous study routine, Moakum attributes his passion for learning and genuine interest in studying that propelled him towards this milestone. Sanjana Mech, Greenwood High School, Alichen, Top 18

Sanjana Mech, securing the 18th position, expressed gratitude towards her teachers, family and juniors for their support during the examination period. Eight students from Mokokchung to receive Governor’s Award

Meanwhile, eight students from Mokokchung district will be awarded the ‘Governor’s Award to the Toppers’.

Among them is Narola Imsong, the State topper of the HSSLC Science stream from Queen Mary Higher Secondary School.

Notably, three individuals from Mokokchung district will receive the Governor’s award for their excellence in MILS and Skill Education subjects: Lanusanen (GHSS Tuli) for Multi-skill Foundation Course (Vocational) in HSLC; and Marnungtet (QMHSS) for Major/Modern Indian Language Award in Ao subject; and Rita (GHSS Tuli) for Skill Education (Electronics) in HSSLC.

Furthermore, in the category of Governor’s Awards for Government Higher Secondary students in Arts, Science, and Commerce, four students of Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung, stand out.

Among them, Biseli Sangtam secured the second position in the Arts stream, while Sungtimen Longchar and Aosenla clinched the first and third positions respectively in Science. Sony Kumari Sharma topped in Commerce.
