Impur, 17 March (MTNews): A special program for Associate Pastor Women and Dorka Cell members, organized by the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Women’s Ministry, was successfully held from 15 to 17 March 2024 at Impur.
The Dorka Cell is a group of married women aged 45 years and below, operating under the umbrella of the ABAM Women’s Ministry. As young mothers, they play an integral role in the advancement of both their families and the church. Effective management is essential for the holistic progress of the family, and they hold a crucial position in fostering happiness within their households. The overall well-being of society significantly relies on the stability of the family unit. Recognizing this significance, the ABAM Women’s Ministry organized this program to empower young mothers with education grounded in faith.
Speakers at the program included Rev Tiatoshi Longkümer, Pastor of KABA; Dr Samuel Longkümer, Administrator of SCM, Dimapur; Mrs Imtilemla Longkümer, Principal of Impur Bible Seminary; Mrs Alemla Mozür, Secretary of ABAM WM; and Mrs T Arenla Longkümer, Coordinator of ABAM WM. Their insights emphasized the importance of being proactive and level-headed in navigating daily life amidst the fast-paced world’s pursuit of position, fame, and honor.
The program was attended by a total of 908 delegates, comprising Associate Pastor Women and Dorka Cell members from 117 churches. As they embrace the responsibility of self-nurturing and contribute to the growth of both the church and society, may God provide guidance in every step they take.
