Mokokchung, June 12 (MTNews): The Kohima Longjang Senso Telongjem (KLST) Jubilee Memorial Education Merit Award 2022 felicitation program for HSLC 2022 Topper was held at the KLST Yim Ki, Agri Forest Colony, Kohima on 12th June 2022.

 

 

Senior Technical Director & State Information Officer, NIC, Ministry of E & IT, Govt. of India, Er. Lanusungkum Aier who dwelled on the theme ‘Nukjidong Tongtetba Shisaluyimer’ (Learners or students achieving their goal) said that the theme is not only for the students but also for every person as it disciplines one to achieve one’s planned goals. While lauding the successful students, he said they have now reached a level where they have to know what to do to achieve their goal.

 

The speaker also said, to be successful student, one should keep a clean goal and focus on it, believe in hard work as it pays, to stay positive with a positive mind, motivate oneself even in difficult times, always be prepared, accept criticism and make preparation from the criticism, be creative and not dull, align their passion along with their studies and advised them to be honest with themselves and with their parents about their passion. He also encouraged them to plan and schedule their daily routine so that it becomes a habit, create smart goals which are measurable, time based and relevant in today’s world and know their passion to move forward and mold one’s future goal.

 

HSLC 2022, topper Meyasenla Longchar from Lima Aier Higher Secondary School, Dimapur who secured the 13 position in her short speech said that from her early schooling till class X, her parents have always been her guide and help in her studies and she too has kept her studies as her main priority with her trust in the Lord. She also mentioned that her success in class X is her stepping stone for her future studies.

 

The program was chaired by Amenla Sani, while the welcome address was proposed by President KLST, Aomeren Imchen and Kohima Longjang Students’ Union sang the LKT Anthem. During the program, token of appreciation and cash awards were given out to eleven HSLC 2022 successful students.
