Koinonia Baptist Church holds evangelistic men’s camp

The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Kohima, held its Evangelistic Men’s Camp from October 8-12, 2024, at the Koinonia Prayer Centre, Tsiesema Basa, under the theme, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).


A press release from the KBC Media Ministry stated that the speakers included Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor of KBC and Principal of Kohima Bible College; Medotseilieü Kiewhuo, Pastor of KBC; Neibalie Kiewhuo, Pastor of KBC; H Rokopra Mekro, Pastor of Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC); and Zashekho Hibo, Assistant Pastor of KBC. Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Nagaland, was the guest speaker.

According to the release, a total of 223 campers attended the event, divided into four groups: Patience, Goodness, Peace, and Love. The Patience group won the overall championship, followed by Goodness, Peace, and Love, respectively.

The camp director was Lhouzakie Rutsa, with Kropayi Dawhuo and Neizokhotuo Belho serving as assistant camp directors. The praise and worship sessions were led by the Men’s Fellowship Praise Team.

Throughout the five-day camp, various topics were discussed, including Sin and its Consequences; Repentance and Salvation; Prayer; Faith; Temptation; The Holy Spirit—Gift, Power, Fruit; Giving—Tithe and Offering; Discipleship; Economic Gospel and Management; Biblical Concepts on Festivals; Restoring the Image of God; and Alcohol and its Consequences, among others.

The best campers were awarded as follows: from the Love Group—T Tokhuvi Aye, Anglong Konyak, and Pelebeituo; from the Patience Group—Nirmol Gogoi, Ngolhunyi Swuro, and Abdul Malik; from the Goodness Group—Vikhotuo Sopfunuo, T. Malam Phom, and Khrievotuo Paunuo; and from the Peace Group—Limathung Odyuo, Sanjay Bardosa, and Vizotuolie Kerhuo.

Additionally, the camp honored campers over 70 years of age, including KB Jumu, RS Shulenjuv, Namba Maram, Nchumbemo Tungoe, and Rukhiukiu.
