Livingstone Foundation International (LFI), Dimapur, hosted a seminar titled “AI as Co-pilot”, conducted by instudia, to promote practical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in student learning.
The session focused on moving students away from copy-pasting AI-generated answers and towards using AI as a learning aid for understanding concepts, improving productivity and developing analytical skills.
Resource person Vishal Bardewa, accompanied by Anguka Ayemi of instudia, led the presentation and interactive demonstrations. Students were introduced to practical ways of using AI as an on-demand tutor to break down complex subjects, clarify concepts and support everyday study.
The seminar also covered prompt design for outlining essays, synthesising reference materials and organising study schedules. Students were encouraged to critically examine AI-generated responses, verify factual accuracy and retain their own analytical perspective.
“Copying and pasting answers bypasses the very struggle where real learning happens,” Bardewa said. “When you treat AI as your co-pilot, you remain in control of the direction.”
He said AI could handle organisational tasks while allowing students to focus on critical analysis, creativity and deeper comprehension.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session with the instudia team.
