Mokokchung, July 30 (MTNews): Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) bid farewell to the outgoing B.Ed. Batch of 2020-22 on July 30 through a Farewell Program.

 

 

According to a press release, Sentilong Ozukum, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung, in his exhortation looked back at the evolvement of education throughout the 150 years of education in the Naga Hills. He encouraged the student-teachers to never stop learning and recommended three keys to aid them in their future as teachers and as individuals -‘Keep Educating Yourself, Keep Evolving Yourself and Keep Enlarging Yourself.’

 

T Alemla Longkumer, Principal, MCTE in her short speech noted the “applicability of teaching approaches not just within the classroom but outside the classroom and throughout life, and wished them a successful completion of the course,” the press release said.

 

Dr. Rijinkhum Yimchunger, Assistant Professor, MCTE, in his speech acknowledged all the laurels and achievements the class brought for the college and commended on their hard work, it added.

 

Meyasangla Imchen and Naklupong Ozukum spoke on behalf of the outgoing batch while Sentinenla Jamir spoke on behalf of the juniors. The program was followed by lunch and an informal session.
