Chumoukedima, 23 December (MTNews): In a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, the Tribal Old Age Home cum Day Care Centre (TOAHDCC) launched “Mission Smile” in 2023 to bring hope and joy to the lives of rescued senior citizens. The project, initiated in memory of the Late Teplok Amri, former Chairman of the Society, has proven to be a beacon of light for those facing despair in their golden years.
One such beneficiary of “Mission Smile” is Mr. X (name changed), a rescued senior citizen at TOAHDCC who, due to the absence of teeth, encountered difficulties in eating and chewing.
