Kohima, 8 May (MTNews): Piphema campus of Modern College, Kohima was inaugurated by Zhaleo Rio, Advisor, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs today.
Z Rio also inaugurated the Botanical Garden, Academic Block, Hostel, Indoor Stadium and released the Silver Jubilee Souvenir of the college. He exhorted the students to think out of the box and not only chase after white-collar jobs but focus on business and entrepreneurship as well. The program was attended by various civil society organizations, government officials, heads of educational institutions, alumni and well-wishers.
The campus is located at Piphema along Dimapur-Kohima 4 lane National Highway on 8 May.
Modern College Piphema campus is spread over 102 acres of land and is located 22 kms from state capital Kohima and around 18 kms from Chümoukedima.
