Mokokchung, 19 October (MTNews): The inaugural program of the Futsal Friendship Cup organized by the 35+ Mokokchung Football League (MFL) fraternity was held at the Mojabi Futsal Turf in Salangtem Ward, Mokokchung on Thursday.
The objective of organizing this Futsal Cup was highlighted by Jamonger Ao, Assistant Director of Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Nagaland. He emphasized that it provides a fun experience with a great atmosphere and brings people together around a shared passion: sports.
“Such tournaments develop social qualities such as endurance, brotherhood, support, and compassion,” added Jamonger Ao.
The inaugural program was chaired by Aoluin, and the oath-taking ceremony was initiated by the Convenor of the Friendship Futsal Cup, 2023, Imcharen Lusang. The Friendship Futsal Cup will culminate on 30 October 2023.
